Dr. Trestman is a Professor of Medicine, Psychiatry, and Nursing at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He also serves as Director of the Health Center Correctional Managed Health Care (CMHC) division. Dr. Trestman is also the senior editor of the recently released Oxford Textbook of Correctional Psychiatry. He is also Chair of the American Psychiatric Association’s Work-group on Persons with Mental Illness in the Criminal Justice System.
